Recycled Bird Feeder



























































Materials Needed:
16 oz. disposable water bottle
Bic pen both ends removed (pull the tip out with pliers and cut the other end off with scissors)
12 inch dowel cut in half
craft knife
plastic clothesline (cut a 36 inch piece)
masking tape
permanent marker
nail file

1. Remove label from water bottle
2. Mark spots on the bottle where you want the pen and dowel (perch) to go through. Cut a small "x" where each dot is.
3. Cut a 2 inch circle just above where the perch (dowel) will be on opposite sides of the bottle.
4. File down any sharp edges on the cut openings.
4. Insert the BIC pen through the two upper "x's"
5. Insert the dowel through the lower 2 "x's"
6. Whip both ends of your clothesline with masking tape
7. Thread the clothesline through the Bic pen
8. Hang your bird feeder up and fill it with seed.
